AGIF’s New “Convenient Rage” Ad Campaign Flips the Script on Big Business Critics

Washington, D.C. – The American Growth & Innovation Forum (AGIF) today launched a bold new national ad campaign titled “Convenient Rage,” a tongue-in-cheek rebuttal to the growing wave of anti-business rhetoric dominating U.S. politics.

The 30-second spot, airing across YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter), humorously calls out the irony of criticizing large American companies while depending on them for everyday life — from groceries and medication to delivery, healthcare, and communication.

“AGIF is laser-focused on championing the role big business plays as part of the solution in driving progress, affordability, and access worldwide,” said Patrick Murphy, AGIF Board Member. “This ad is meant to hold up a mirror to the public conversation — because the same companies that make modern life possible are too often treated like villains for doing it well.”

The launch follows AGIF’s recent coalition letter to Congress urging lawmakers to avoid policies that penalize scale and innovation. Together, the two initiatives represent a coordinated effort to reset the national conversation around the value of American enterprise.

“This campaign is a wake-up call,” said Diana London, President of AGIF. “Eighty-seven percent of Americans use products from large companies every single day, yet only 40 percent say they view them favorably. We want people to see the connection between the businesses they rely on and the prosperity, stability, and access those companies create.”

In recent years, criticism of large corporations has surged across both political extremes, with populist talking points framing scale as synonymous with greed. “Convenient Rage” challenges that notion — highlighting the essential role of integrated U.S. companies in keeping prices low, supply chains resilient, and innovation alive.

The spot is the first in a series of creative campaigns AGIF will roll out through the end of the year, spotlighting how big businesses sustain American jobs, fund community investment, and deliver reliability even in moments of crisis.
