American Growth & Innovation Forum Launches “Down with Discounts,” the Second Video in Its National Ad Series on How Big Businesses Keep America Affordable

Washington, D.C. — The American Growth & Innovation Forum (AGIF) today released “Down with Discounts,” the second installment in its ongoing national ad series highlighting how large American companies make everyday life more affordable and accessible.

The 30-second spot takes a playful jab at critics of big business—those who rail against corporate America while filling shopping carts with name-brand groceries and enjoying the extended store hours those companies make possible. Through satire and smart storytelling, “Down with Discounts” underscores a simple truth: scale matters. From supply chain efficiency to consumer pricing power, it’s big companies that help keep grocery costs low and shelves stocked nationwide.

“Big business is what makes it possible for families to put dinner on the table without breaking the bank,” said Diana London, President of AGIF. “The critics can chant all they want, but at the end of the day, it’s the scale, investment, and logistics of America’s largest companies that deliver the affordability and access people rely on every single day.”

The “Down with Discounts” campaign builds on the success of AGIF’s first ad, “Convenient Rage,” which drew millions of views across digital platforms for its satirical take on how Americans depend on the very businesses they love to criticize. The final installment in the three-part series will debut later this year.

Each ad in the series reinforces AGIF’s mission: to champion the role of large, integrated American companies in driving innovation, expanding access, and keeping costs low for consumers—especially when household budgets are under pressure.
