New Organization Formed to Advocate for Consumer-Friendly American Businesses
American Growth and Innovation Forum (AGIF) Poll Finds Majority of Americans Believe Businesses are a Force for Good
Today marks the launch of The American Growth and Innovation Forum, a new organization that aims to drive fact-based discussions about the types of policies that will continue to deliver for American consumers and provide a check on detrimental legislative agendas.
“Behind every affordable household item, reliable broadband connection, or breakthrough technology is a story of American scale and ingenuity at work. At our core, AGIF champions the reality that U.S. companies make life better for families, communities, and the country as a whole,” said Diana London, President, American Growth and Innovation Forum.
American businesses have historically accomplished great feats. They drive innovation, provide access to affordable products and are engines of economic growth and community development.
However, recent narratives and headlines driven by activist groups and politicians have demonized great American companies and worked to punish them with onerous regulations
London continued, “AGIF started with a simple hypothesis: while the rhetoric around ‘big business’ is negative, we believe a majority of American businesses add tremendous value to communities and the attacks on them do not reflect the true opinions of consumers.”
AGIF decided to test this proposition. Recent polling, commissioned by the organization and performed by Cygnal, found that despite only 40% of Americans having a favorable view of big business, 87% of them use products from big business and majority think they are a force for good. In that same poll, the most important reasons why respondents trust large corporations were access to products and services (58%), convenience (54%), and fast and reliable service (50%).
AGIF’s key focus areas will be affordability, accessibility, innovation, jobs, and reliability. In a time of skepticism about scale and integration, AGIF hopes to bring clarity, research, and leadership to the conversation.

About the American Growth and Innovation Forum
AGIF is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to champion the role of American innovation, scale, and enterprise in driving progress, affordability, and access - both at home and around the world. We advocate for a fact-based understanding of how responsible growth in key sectors like health care, technology, agriculture, retail, and infrastructure empower U.S. companies to deliver better products and services, foster competition, and create opportunities for all. In an era when scale and integration are often misunderstood or unfairly maligned, our organization exists to educate, inform, and unite stakeholders around the positive impact that American business leadership brings to consumers, communities, and the global economy.
